About Ilaug Conference Resources
ICR was created in 1999 as a way to simplify meeting and event planning for meeting planners, administrative assistants, human resource directors and anyone else who may have additional responsibilities in planning their companys meeting and hotel needs.
Robin Brunkow, ICR's Sales Director, has been in the Hospitality and Event Industry for more than 20 years planning and executing hundreds of successful events. She enjoys a thorough knowledge of both the supplier and client side of meeting planning. She began her career as a Sales Manager for Radisson Hotels and then moved to the client-side of meeting planning as an Event Manager for Dayton’s Department Store, Target and most recently Best Buy. Robin’s passion for her work and her drive to create exceptional events have earned her a reputation as a true professional.
Melissa Ilaug, founder of ICR, has over 10 years experience in working for resorts and luxury hotels in Minneapolis and Northern Minnesota. Melissa first started out in food & beverage and later in a sales capacity for hotels. This experience lead to Performance Destinations as Regional Director of Sales where she handled site selection for the corporate market. The knowledge and experience gained in hotels and then at Performance Destinations along with a strong desire to start a business lead to the creation of Ilaug Conference Resources, Inc.
Robin and Melissa's experience together creates a perfect balance for ICR and provides the expertise necessary to exceed your meeting and hotel needs. However, we will continue to grow our company and look for the most qualified sales professionals in order to keep up the demands of our clients.
